2010 Schedule

Spring - Fall

We plan to be open the 2nd, 3rd and LAST weekends of each Month  from May 29th to October 10th.  This is usually from late morning Saturday thru early afternoon Sunday.   Efforts are under way to increase the staffing.  Updates will be posted here. 

To be clear, the last weekend of July is the 31st, and the 2nd weekend of August is August 14th from our perspective.

On 10/30 and 10/31 the tower will be open as well.

When volunteers are on duty, the Cabin and Fire Tower are open for tours and viewing.  There is a picnic table in the summit clearing, water nearby, and a privy a short distance away.  If the volunteers are not present, the tower and cabin will not be open.  If the crew is off doing some other activity, and will return shortly, they usually post a sign on the cabin door.

Please, no fires or camping are allowed at the summit.

Remember,  weather or other last minute change of plans may slightly alter the schedule.
